Servicing
An annual boiler service is advisable no matter the age or make of the boiler, to ensure that it is working efficiently and safely. A boiler service can prolong the lifespan of the appliance and prevent expensive heating breakdowns and also ensure against Carbon Monoxide leakage.
A boiler service takes approximately 3/4 hr to 1 hour and involves ensuring gas pressures are correct, checking safety devices are working and correct. Cleaning components' where necessary. Checking performance of boiler and that all ventilation and flue requirements conform to manufactures and current British standards. Ace will automatically write to you the following year to remind you the service is due.

Landlords certificates/ GSR/CP12’s
These checks are required by law to be carried out annually on all properties that have tenants. ACE is able to send a copy of the certificate electronically normally within fifteen minutes of the inspection being completed, to a chosen email address. We also automatically remind all our customers of when boiler services/landlord certificates are due for renewal.

Power flush
A power flush uses a high-pressure machine to pump cleaning solution through your central heating system, clearing the sludge, which can build up over time as a reaction between water and steel radiators. This will always take place when ACE is installing a new boiler.
A power flush could also be recommended if your boiler is slow to start up, has frequent pump problems, if your radiators need bleeding frequently, or some radiators are partially or completely cold.
